We are looking for a Senior Graphics Programmer to join Ready at Dawn in creating high profile original titles across multiple platforms.Senior Graphics Programmers collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers across multiple disciplines to develop the proprietary in-house engine that powers our games. An ideal candidate is someone who can find creative solutions to challenging problems, and who also has experience with using the latest graphical hardware and techniques.

  • Maintain and extend the proprietary Ready at Dawn Engine on multiple platforms
  • Optimize engine and graphics features to meet desired frame rate
  • Support legacy tools and features
  • Research and develop cutting edge engine and rendering features
  • 5+ years of game development experience
  • Experienced with C/C++ software development
  • Proven knowledge of low-level shader programming and GPU hardware
  • Knowledgeable in a variety of modern graphical techniques and rendering architectures
  • Familiar with game asset pipelines
  • Experience collaborating with artists on new engine features
  • Experience with runtime and pre-computed lighting solutions
  • Experience work independently and to be self-directed
  • Experienced communicating efficiently across disciplines
  • Self-motivation with a proven work ethic
  • Proven 3D math background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Familiar with the latest research in physically-based rendering techniques
  • Experience with character animation, particularly facial animation
  • Knowledge of DirectX 12 or Vulkan graphics API’s
  • Experience with GPU-driven particles and FX systems
  • Familiar with GPU ray tracing techniques
  • Experienced shipping Virtual Reality games
