Job Responsibilities

This is a software engineering position in which you will be joining a team of engineers to help develop software that supports gamers globally. In this role you will be responsible for the design and implementation of code and work closely alongside our regional development teams to deliver outstanding features, whilst conforming to coding standards and technical design. As part of the engineering team, you will also assist with other development processes and requirements as needed.

• Responsible for software development lifecycle activities, including system study, analysis, design, code, test and deployment
• Work with project team members to identify product requirements and help define project scope, objectives, and plans accordingly
• Write, analyse, optimize, and debug application code to maximize performance and quality
• Document technical specifications and functional specifications
• Monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Liaise with external partners in integration and seeing it from start to end

Pre-Requisites

• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven expertise in writing clean and efficient code
• Experienced with Node/Express
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL and ORMs
• Experience with test driven development
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
• Able to articulate clearly and communicate well
• Show willingness to learn and keep up to date with technology trends
• Experience with other languages like Python, C#, Go, etc
• Experience with frontend frameworks like VueJS
• Knowledge of microservices architectures
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
