Job Responsibilities :

• Administer, monitor and manage mid-scale production environment for web services and applications servers
• Implement automated procedures for testing, deployment, configuration, startup, and shutdown procedures of services and application systems.
• Work closely with engineering and release management to document, enhance, and improve on application operational procedures and processes
• Conduct application performance testing
• Manage and provision for development and testing environments

Pre-Requisites :

• Engineering talent proven by great work experience
• 5+ years of operational experience
• Ability to code and script
• Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and automation tools
• Must have experience of working with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• In-depth Windows and Linux knowledge and experience
• Should have basic knowledge of a deployment environment involving load balancer, firewalls, webservers, application servers, databases, routers/switches
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Must have good analytical skills to debug deployment problems without taking help from developers
• Deep hands-on technical expertise and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, technically challenging environment with rapidly changing requirements
