As the Senior Sales Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing, Americas, and plan, lead and implement the sales strategy to drive Razer’s gaming laptop success in the North American market. You will collaborate with our key customers and channel partners in reviewing and analyzing sell-thru inventory and market share, forge new alliances, and grow the Razer line. You have an unbridled passion for gaming, the Razer brand, and Razer laptop. You have a proven record of creating and fostering strategic channel partnerships, organizing, and leading all aspects of the sales cycle internally and externally. Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the entire region’s gaming laptop targets, as well as having direct responsibility for specific strategic accounts.
  • Drive gaming laptop KPIs for the region, including revenue, profit and loss, channel inventory, market share street pricing.
  • Plan and execute impactful product launches in the channel as well as efficient end of life and rollover transitions.
  • Mastermind and implement promotion plans and strategies with the channel, based on sales and market data analysis.
  • Establish a rolling sales plan to meet and exceed overall business and sales goals, leveraging market opportunities, learning from past sales results, taking advantage of all available resources, and reviewing progress and adjusting as needed.
  • Integrate deeply with the full cross-category account teams to present a single Razer approach to the channel partner as well as the global gaming laptop business unit ensuring flawless execution of their strategy.
  • Manage two employees and provide management direction, mentoring and counseling.
  • Establishing effective relationships with key buyers and their management based on thought leadership, smart business dialog and an infectious passion for gaming and the Razer brand.
  • Identify and provide insights on channel, competitor, and market trends.
  • Travel required up to 15% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or MBA from competitive college or university or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of account management and sales leadership experience in laptops or tablets.
  • Earned consistent accolades from channel buyers for proactiveness, business approach, thought leadership, collaborative style, and growth.
  • An established record of meeting or exceeding goals, establishing deep and valuable channel relationships and representing the brand positively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets, database and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with loads of examples of great decisions and process of management impacts.
  • Exceptional communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding teamwork, organizational interpersonal problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate, ambitious, self-starter, charismatic.
