Job Responsibilities

• Drive design of mechanical hardware and develop product hardware functional specifications to meet aggressive time to market goals\r\n
• Creation of detailed design including CAD modeling, FEA optimization, manufacturing method evaluation, vendor selection, and material choice for lowest possible part cost\r\n
• Work effectively in a team environment, sometimes across worldwide locations, to develop complex products from concept to production\r\n
• Develop and protect intellectual property for market leadership and adhere to, resource plans, schedule, and budget\r\n
• Ability to multi-task and handle rapidly changing priorities\r\n
• Take ownership and drive projects and issues to closure

Pre-Requisites

• Master/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent \r\n
• At least 6 years\' of mechanical design experience, with proven record in concept to production environment\r\n
• Hands on experience in CAD related software such as ProE and SolidWorks\r\n
• Experience with driving technology development with other technology groups to optimize user experience\r\n
• Experience in mechanical part and mechanism design for DFM and DFA, using both plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as related secondary and cosmetic processes\r\n
• Experience and familiar with very demanding and fast pace consumer electronics development environment is an advantage\r\n
• Hands on design experience is a essential for this position
