As the Senior Director, Global Software Business Unit, you are responsible for the strategy, development and marketing of our Software products. You will lead a global team and define, represent and communicate our software product strategy to all stakeholders, growing our user and customer base and engagement. You understand latest technology/trends to guide the team, develop growth plans, forecast and drive revenue. Reporting to the SVP, Global Software Business Unit, this is a high impact position with responsibilities including driving user engagement, business revenue growth, evangelizing solutions around Razer’s technological eco-system and closely following industry trends and direction to shape product priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all the functions (product marketing, product development, engineering teams) of the assigned product(s)
  • Develop growth plans and business partnerships pipeline that drives ROIs for the products
  • Revenue responsibilities for a diverse portfolio of online platforms
  • Gather market insights and understand latest technology/trends to contributing to the product road map, that is aligned with Razer’s strategic focus and objectives
  • Responsible for delivery of end results and budget management, accountable for resource planning
  • Provide a holistic view of the production environment for both technology and business management, working closely as a trusted partner.
  • Manage vendors, partners and work closely to identify key and/or niche products/solutions for the company to market to their customers

Experience and Requirements:

  • Experience in the online gaming, digital content, entertainment or social networking industry
  • Has a successful track record in managing digital and online platforms and businesses
  • Demonstrate experience with a successful track record in building relationships and driving revenues
  • Good understanding of PC and mobile game content development processes, pipelines, workflows and tools
  • Good analytical skills, capable of doing in-depth analysis, to provide business insights and develop counter-challenges
  • Extensive partnerships network in the gaming, digital content or payments
  • Experience in working with international partners and multi-country partnerships
  • Experience of managing a diverse set of stakeholders
