Summary:

We are seeking a driven, energetic, and team-oriented individual to join the Sales and Marketing team as a Retail Marketing Specialist in our Irvine office. The Retail Marketing Specialist role will take ownership of retail merchandising, training and marketing programs to cost-effectively drive sell-through (sales to end consumers) at our major retail partners which include Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Target. The person in this role must have a strong consumer retail marketing background and thorough understanding of retail channels. Experience in consumer electronics a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide merchandising, promotions and training programs to drive sell-through of Razer products to end consumers.
  • Support sales in creating win-win relationships with key retail partners.
  • Work closely with channel partners to create messaging and co-branded collateral and execute programs that build brand awareness and purchase intent.
  • Partner with sales to profitably expand Razer's retail footprint.
  • Create and execute Razer product training programs for retailer in-store personnel.
  • Deliver insightful analysis on retail performance to drive mutually profitable assortment changes/expansions.
  • Drive communications and collateral to fit brand positioning, look and feel.
  • Analyze marketing programs to calculate return on investment (ROI).
  • Manage trade show presence at consumer, channel events.
  • Drive allocation of channel marketing funds to deliver the best ROI and deliver growth.
  • Help retail partners put in place KPIs to measure marketing activity effectiveness.
  • Travel required up to 15% of the time.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, including at least 3 years of retail channel marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in leading results-oriented joint marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of and passion for gaming.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver a compelling actionable narrative.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with retail/online merchandising.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Presentation creation and delivery skills for internal and key account facing audiences.
  • Team player with ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Self-directed problem-solver.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks.
  • Gaming industry experience highly preferred.
