Job Responsibilities :

The Product Evangelist I has direct input and responsibility for global product marketing strategy, in addition to direct input and responsibility into product roadmap, pricing, and promotion for consoles.

  • Responsible for Global product marketing and management of Razerโ€™s video game console accessories product lines, with a focus on developing and executing marketing plans and business initiatives to achieve annual KPIs and fiscal targets.
  • Develop and drive global marketing plans for assigned products.
  • Responsible for all product marketing and management functions of assigned product line.
  • Develop comprehensive product launch plans for all new launches, present to internal stakeholders, and drive execution of plans at detailed level.
  • Support PR teams through participation, effectively communicate with outside press, and represent the product and company as required.
  • Prepare and deliver on-time marketing assets for various sales and communications channels.
  • Develop monthly and quarterly global marketing plans for assigned products to summarize key activities that will drive revenue and unit growth to meet targets (promotions, launches, PR, events, influencer seedings, collateral creation, digital marketing, etc.).
  • Ensure the development and execution of marketing activities within various regions around the world, working closely with regional cross-functional teams.
  • Function as global marketing point of contact for internal stakeholders including sales, regional marketing teams, PR, community, technical support, business development, operations, and finance.
  • Represent product team at various public facing events, customer and partner meetings.
  • Attend relevant trade shows and assist in booth duty, setting up products, presenting, etc.
  • Global product expert on all technical related questions related to assigned products.
  • Attend and potentially drive daily/weekly calls with global stakeholders to ensure product updates and execution of marketing initiatives to help drive growth.
  • Responsible for understanding market and competitive offerings of assigned products.
  • Gather input from various sources (market, press, customers, forums, etc.) to drive feedback of business and market requirements into product planning process to help shape product roadmap.
  • Drive input into creative strategy of assigned products, including packaging, advertising, web content and marketing, merchandising and promotions.
  • Work with outside vendors and strategic partners to drive initiatives and actions that help support overall product and business initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pre-Requisites:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management and marketing in the consumer electronics industry; peripherals hardware highly preferred with experience in gaming or mobile a big plus.
  • Experience developing and overseeing execution of marketing plans.
  • Experience with PC or consumer electronics sales channels: retail, carrier, direct, online and distribution.
  • Able to write marketing copy and provide design direction on creative including digital marketing, web merchandising, print ads, video, graphics, etc.
  • Has previously developed detailed marketing plans and was involved in articulating the strategy and requirements for success.
  • Can work independently, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills including ability to successfully interact with executive management.
  • Preferred experience in working in a Global company with multiple stake holders across different countries and time zones.
