Job Responsibilities :

The PR Manager, Growth is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategy for Razer in the North and South America region. Reporting to the regional PR Lead, and supporting the global PR team, this position leads communication and PR activity for the Growth business units including console video games, mobile products, lifestyle audio and other related computer product categories.

  • Develop and implement targeted communication strategies for the North, Central and South American markets to support product initiatives.
  • Direct PR agencies and other external PR resources.
  • Implement breakthrough Earned Media strategies and activation frameworks to build brand awareness and affinity, elevate brand equity, engage new consumers and inspire loyalty.
  • Represent company as a spokesperson with media.
  • Closely collaborate with regional marketing and social teams.
  • Identify and manage collaboration with influencers, streamers and esports organizations.
  • Establish strategic media relations plans for new product launches and hero products
  • Manage to KPI’s and maintain and leverage reporting tools to demonstrate results/success including Share of Voice in the category.
  • Implement the organization's public relations strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Maintains current database of public relations contacts and record of communications.
  • Coordinates public relations activities with promotional, events and sales activities.
  • Manage the distribution of product samples and other marketing resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pre-Requisites :

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications or other relevant field, or related work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong familiarity within consumer electronics marketing space.
  • Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and working with external agencies.
  • Proactive, with strong time management and prioritization skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Gamer and/or have passion for gaming industry desired.
