This is a senior software engineering position in which you will be joining a team of engineers to help develop software that supports gamers globally. In this role you will be responsible for the design and implementation of code and work closely alongside our product team to deliver outstanding features, whilst conforming to coding standards and technical design. As part of the engineering team, you will also assist with other development processes and requirements as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for software development lifecycle activities, including system study, analysis, design, code, test and deployment
• Work with project team members to identify product requirements and help define project scope, objectives, and plans accordingly
• Write, analyse, optimize, and debug application code to maximize security, performance and quality
• Document technical specifications and functional specifications
• Guide engineers to maintain high coding standards
• Comfortable with working remotely and collaborating with team online when required.

Pre-Requisites

• Proven expertise in writing clean and efficient code
• Experience with Node/Express
• Experience with MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL and ORMs
• Experience with test driven development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team
• Able to articulate clearly and communicate well
• Show willingness to keep up to date with technology trends
• Good understanding of security concepts and session management (SSO)
• Enjoys working in a collaborative, technically challenging environment with rapidly changing requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering field
• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field Bonus
• Experience in developing payment system
• Experience with other languages like Python, C#, Go, etc
• Experience with mobile development SDK
• Knowledge of microservices architectures
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
