Job Responsibilities

Responsible for all areas of mechanical research & development relevance to the product specifications
Plan and coordinate all activities from conceptualization to mass production in the area of mechanical
Liaise and coordinate with vendors and contract manufacturers on all activities,schedules and deliverables
Some travel is expected for the role

Pre-Requisites

Degree/Masters in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Proficiency in CAD related software e.g. ProE, SolidWorks
Experience in mechanical part and mechanism design for DFM and DFA, using both plastic and sheet metal parts, as well as in related secondary and cosmetic processes is an added advantage
Experience in mould tooling is an added advantage
Experience and familiar with very demanding and fast paced consumer electronics development environment is an added advantage
