IT Specialist

As IT Specialist, you will support the IT team with their day-to-day operations. As an IT Specialist, you have strong computer, networking, and support skills, and love helping solve technical issues.

Must be eligible to work in the USA without work visa sponsorship.

This is a 12 month contract in Irvine, CA.


  • Manage and ensure system availability and IT services accordingly to SLA.
  • Work with IT Manager to strategize on improving End User IT experience as well as ensure low impact to End users when deploying or upgrading IT services.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance to ensure high availability of the network systems including the use of suitable monitoring systems to preempt or quickly resolve any network issues including appropriate security and back-up processes.
  • Assist the IT Manager to manage IT asset to ensure accurate assets.
  • Support deployment & configuration of windows systems (Laptop, desktop, Mac OS).
  • Install, support and maintain hardware and software IT Infrastructure such as printer, CCTV, Biometric access, Wi-Fi controllers, IP and PBX telephony system.
  • Work with IT Service Desk staffs.
  • Manage IT assets, software licenses, maintenance and inventory list in country.
  • Facilitate high level functional specifications discussion and participate system integration testing with Infrastructure and Application team.
  • Provide training and demonstration and produce training and demonstration materials to business.
  • Engage with low-complexity IT vendors, negotiate pricing, request for quotation, manage and monitor IT vendor performance and delivery schedule.
  • Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
  • Travel required up to 15% of the time, domestic and/or international.


  • BA/BS degree in computer science/IT or related, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good communication and project management skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a complex (matrix) environment.
  • Must be comfortable talking to people at all levels.
