This position will be part of the software engineering team within the software BU focusing on rolling on Razer's services like Razer Gold. To be successful in this position, you will need to be a self motivated and adaptable individual with very strong communication skills, who can work under pressure, along with proven experience working on complex, global, time-critical consumer facing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Drive technical development through to execution for our services product, and be responsible and accountable for all phases of the product lifecycle from concept, through to design, build, delivery, go-to-market and product success.
- Understand and engage with internal customers, clients, prospects and external partners to identify market opportunities that represent the voice of the customer’s needs.
- Understand the competitive landscape in order to establish market leading, innovative and differentiated products.
- Lead the engineering development and architecture of Razer's services capabilities in an agile product development environment collaborating with IT engineering, marketing, technology partners, sales channels, customer support ensuring product requirements are clear, and the delivered product meets the specified requirements.
- As a Leader, recruit, lead, mentor and build a world class collaborative team enabled to build best in class products, and establish a culture comfortable pushing the boundaries of excellence.
Experience and Requirements:
- Deep, hands-on programming and technical design skills with demonstrated willingness and capability to learn new technologies quickly.
- At least 8 years software development management experience, preferably in delivering B2C products/services/content.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deliver complex, successful web services and/or customer experiences efficiently and with quality.
- Proven team leadership, interpersonal skills, and ability to get things done.
- Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and technical details effectively across disciplines, locations, and organizations, including to senior leadership.
- Adept at managing competing priorities in a complex portfolio of work in order to quickly set direction.
- A self-motivated, self-directed individual who can also motivate and collaborate with a cross-functional, matrixed team.
- Be an informed decision maker for his/her team in order to drive results in a timely fashion.
- Proven experience in planning, cost management, organizational development and change management.
