Randolph-Macon College invites applications for the Director of eSports position in the Office of Student Life. The Director of eSports, under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Co-Curricular Life and Student Conduct, is responsible for developing and directing an experiential eSports program in support of the College’s strategic plan to create new, as well as, improve and enhance current co-curricular programs and to provide students with ownership of their co-curricular experiences. The Director is expected to recruit eSports students that can be successful academically, socially, and athletically at Randolph-Macon College. The Director will be expected to meet a minimum roster size of 15 unique eSports athletes each year; instruct and prepare the students for NACE, Tespa, and other competitions and tournaments in League of Legends, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Fortnite, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Additionally, the Director will create opportunities for the campus to engage with eSports to build school spirit. The Director will be a student affairs generalist with a passion for student engagement

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required plus experience in managing projects and/or eSports programs. Applicants will require strong interpersonal and organizational skills, well-developed writing and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to student growth and development. Applicants should possess the ability to work across different functional areas of the College, have strong attention to detail, independent initiative, and must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
