PUBG Corporation is the developer and publisher of the blockbuster battle royale video game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG). As a Senior Public Relations Manager, you will report to the Director of Communications to manage and execute on both global and NA-specific communications campaigns that deliver impactful coverage and results. As an ideal candidate, you are a seasoned communications professional who is a detail-oriented self-starter that is comfortable adapting to changes in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. In addition to managing PUBG Corporation’s product and esports PR initiatives, you will work in close collaboration with the broader regional and global publishing teams to transform organizational goals into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and execute strategic PR campaigns for product and esports initiatives in partnership with regional PR teams
  • Partner with cross-functional regional and global publishing teams to transform goals into actionable strategies
  • Serve as a primary PR point of contact for internal teams and external media and partners
  • Manage and partner with the PR agency in ongoing executional support and reporting duties
  • Compose and edit PR materials, including plans, recaps, press distributions, pitch letters, Q&As, fact sheets, and proactive/reactive messaging
  • Keep a deep knowledge and understanding of PUBG, the video game industry, and its media landscape
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key journalists, producers, and other contributors in partnership with the PR agency
  • Obtain earned top-tier coverage by successfully pitching relevant and engaging stories
  • Investigate, plan, and execute CSR initiatives in partnership with the Director of Communications
  • Manage reporting and analytics by creating, maintaining, and delivering coverage reports and recaps

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of related PR experience
  • Experience working in the video game industry and/or in a similar capacity managing live service product is highly desired
  • Strategic thinker who is results-driven and has a history of proven campaign and placement results
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including ability to adapt to last-minute changes
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills while having the ability to work, adapt, and communicate in a multi-national/multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to measure ROI by analyzing metrics and contextualizing the data for future key learnings
  • Expertise writing and building plans, recommendations, and activity recaps
  • Prior experience with crisis management and successfully navigating difficult situations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and analytics tools (e.g. TrendKite, Meltwater)
