Our Madison, WI office is seeking a Senior Level Designer to develop our game by working closely with the Madison & Seoul, South Korean engineering team. Madison is a small, multi-disciplinary team pioneering maps, modes, and experiences for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, including our latest seasonal offering "Karakin".
Responsibilities:
- Design and drive striking, innovative, and most importantly, fun levels and layouts for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS
- Plan, build, and revise interesting layouts for gameplay
- Collaborate with the Design, Art, and Engineering teams to create and refine gameplay mechanics and play-spaces
- Designing fun experiences for our players
- Be an advocate for player experience and create compelling user stories
- Fix design related bugs
- Create building and level blockouts for gameplay iteration
- Create documentation that clearly demonstrates your designs and ideas
Well-qualified candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience in level design & at least 2 shipped titles
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Blueprints
- Ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with others
- Ability to manage your own tasks and scheduling
- Experience with 3d art packages such as Maya, 3ds Max
- Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creating your own functional prototypes
- Strong narrative and storytelling experience
