Our Madison, WI office is seeking a Senior Level Designer to develop our game by working closely with the Madison & Seoul, South Korean engineering team. Madison is a small, multi-disciplinary team pioneering maps, modes, and experiences for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, including our latest seasonal offering "Karakin".


  • Design and drive striking, innovative, and most importantly, fun levels and layouts for PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS
  • Plan, build, and revise interesting layouts for gameplay
  • Collaborate with the Design, Art, and Engineering teams to create and refine gameplay mechanics and play-spaces
  • Designing fun experiences for our players
  • Be an advocate for player experience and create compelling user stories
  • Fix design related bugs
  • Create building and level blockouts for gameplay iteration
  • Create documentation that clearly demonstrates your designs and ideas

Well-qualified candidates will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in level design & at least 2 shipped titles
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine and Blueprints
  • Ability to communicate your ideas and collaborate with others
  • Ability to manage your own tasks and scheduling
  • Experience with 3d art packages such as Maya, 3ds Max
  • Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Creating your own functional prototypes
  • Strong narrative and storytelling experience


  • Programming/scripting experience in C++ or Python
  • Fluent in Korean
