PUBG MadGlory is seeking Quality Assurance Specialist who will be full-time in our Saratoga Springs, New York location. We are a team of passionate gamers looking to add a squad member that can help provide software testing of websites, web applications and in game integrations. If you are passionate about software development, game development, esports, PUBG and have a hankering for chicken dinners, then this may be the place for you!

The ideal candidate will work side by side with the PUBG MadGlory Engineering, Production, and Game & Graphic Design teams to test the functionality of online features and in game features being developed. You'll work closely with the Steam PUBG build, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. Experience with C++ testing, Golang testing, website testing, Javascript testing, automated testing, and functional testing is a major plus. As we coordinate daily with our HQ office in Seoul, South Korea, any experience with the Korean language is a major plus . Sound just like you? Sweet… keep reading.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting programmers, designers, and artists during every step of production development
  • Creating and maintaining QA documentation such as test plans as well as producing detailed bug reports
  • Assisting with the management of the bug database to ensure they reflect the current state of projects
  • Helping to coordinate the QA effort with external teams and possible outsourced partners

Skills & Requirements:

  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of PC and console gaming (hardware and testing software)
  • Understanding of and experience with all areas of game testing
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and how they can be applied to ensure the highest possible quality and maximum efficiency
  • Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work full-time in Saratoga Springs, NY

Following is a plus:

  • Experience working with bug-trackers (JIRA preferably)
  • Experience working with the Unreal Engine
  • 3 or more years of experience working in a game development environment
  • Experience with the Korean language
