PUBG Corp. is the developer and publisher of the blockbuster battle royale video game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG). Our Madison, WI office is seeking a Gameplay Engineer to develop our game by working closely with the Madison & Seoul, South Korean engineering team. Madison is a small, multi-disciplinary team pioneering maps, modes, and experiences for PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS, including our latest seasonal offering "Karakin".

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Gameplay Engineering and Design Teams to develop and maintain gameplay systems that are performant, modular, and fun
  • Collaborate with other development units in a distributed studio environment
  • Develop in both a native C++ environment and a high-level scripting language
  • Madison's mission statement is to pioneer maps, modes, and experiences for PUBG.

Well-qualified candidates will have:

  • A passion for games and gaming
  • Demonstrable previous work in professional game development, having at least one shipped title
  • An emphasis on gameplay engineering with the breadth to work in other supporting areas such as tools, networking, data analytics, machine learning, etc.
  • An understanding of the collaborative and iterative process of game development
  • A desire for personal and professional growth
