Private Division is a developer-focused publisher that empowers the video games industry’s leading creative talent to develop the games that they are passionate about building, while providing the support that they need to make their titles critically and commercially successful on a global scale. Announced as a new division of Take-Two Interactive Software, the label publishes Kerbal Space Program, The Outer Worlds, OlliOlli World, and more. We are headquartered in New York City with offices in Seattle, Munich, Las Vegas, and Singapore.
Our Internship Program:
Take-Two’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to gain substantive, first-hand business insight over the course of a three-month paid internship. Interns will gain hands-on exposure in the area(s) of their desired interests as well as participate in team-based summer-long projects. Our internships are created with the intent that students walk away with meaningful learning experiences that enhance both their personal and professional development goals. T2's Internship Program also serves as a gateway to building a talent pool of rising stars for permanent roles. At Private Division, you’ll have to opportunity to leave a substantive mark on the marketing of existing games, unannounced games, and label marketing efforts.
The Challenge:
The Marketing Intern position at Private Division is a unique opportunity to work directly on the marketing campaigns of titles such as Kerbal Space Program, Kerbal Space Program 2, and OlliOlli World. It also presents the opportunity to get insight into marketing strategy and planning, as well as disciplines such as public relations, creative production, community management, and more. Private Division expects a person in this position to contribute their own views and experiences to the marketing process, to support marketing managers with their various projects, and most importantly to be an enthusiastic contributor to Private Division label efforts as a whole.
What You’ll Take On:
- Support marketing managers in the creation and adjustment of marketing plans and go-to market execution of those plans.
- Research the competitive landscape both historically and forward looking to aid in the strategizing of marketing efforts with developer partners to project manage asset creation and ideation of new marketing assets.
- Support our worldwide offices in the execution of marketing beats for our games.
- Give feedback from your unique perspective on marketing plans and our portfolio of games.
What You Bring:

- Excellent Time Management,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with the video game industry (as a consumer is sufficient).
- Willing to participate in a hybrid working model, based out of our Midtown Manhattan office.
Desired Education Level: All Interns should be current students or recent grads with a focus in Marketing, Communications, Video Games, Business, Finance, Graphic Design, and other related concentrations
Work Location: New York City
Great to Have:
- Experience in marketing, business, video games, or creative fields. We are open to candidates with different work and educational backgrounds.
- Understanding of the business side of the video game industry, as well as some insight into the game development process.
- Experience with the Adobe Cloud suite.
- Experience with either school-related or personal projects seen through to completion.
