==High Level==
We are looking for a self-starting, creative, driven and results-focused Systems Programmer to join our team! The Systems Programmer will work with the WindowsCE Team to optimize and develop new systems to support the action-focused gameplay. This is a full time or part time position.
== Responsibilities==
- Work with a team to develop and scale games
- Build technology and tools that can be leveraged across multiple projects
- Be flexible and willing to learn new technologies
- Optimize and fine-tune code for performance
- Tackle new challenges that arise during development
==Qualifications==
- College or 2-3 years experience in Game Development
- Advanced knowledge of C derivative programming language(s)
- Excellent programming skills with a solid understanding of software engineering techniques, methodologies, and attention to detail
- Flexibility and willingness to learn new technologies as needed
- Positive and willing to tackle new challenges that arise during development
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within your team and beyond
- BA/BS degree in computer science, game development or related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
==Bonus==
- Shipped at least one game
- Experience with Gamemaker Studio 2
- Can enjoy fast-paced action games or fighting games.
- Familiar with glTF or writing custom 3D file formats.
- Prior familiarity with TrenchBroom or similar "BSP"-style level tools. (ProBuilder, GTKRadiant, QuArK, Hammer etc)
- Experience creating characters for platformer or fighting games/mods (such as MUGEN, etc).
- Reasonable experience working with an entirely remote team.
- Familiarity with various bug tracker system(s) and version control repos.
- Experience with ROM hacking
