Proudly backed by EQT Ventures, Makers Fund and David Helgason, we are going through an exciting time of expansion. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, we are now looking for an experienced finance manager who wants to work in a dynamic environment where decisions are taken quickly. This is not your typical finance number crunching role.
What you will do:
- Prepare our monthly, quarterly and year end financial statement
- Managing P&L's and tax compliance for parent company based Berlin and subsidiaries across Europe
- Work closely with our tax advisor to ensure all necessary tax declaration activities are in order
- Tracking and monitoring accounts receivable and collection activities of our ad network partners
- Actively improve and automate accounting and finance processes in order to focus on key challenges and/or ad-hoc initiatives
- Prepare our monthly payroll and ensure the payment is on time
- Approving and processing the expense reports of our employees
- Responsible for the monthly reporting to the management and investors
- Preparing various ad-hoc financial reports, analyses and functions
- Assisting in fundraising initiatives as well as strategic projects
- Preparing our weekly payment runs
- Responsible for all internal and external requests and communication of the finance department
- Be the first contact person when it comes to questions related our bookkeeping, payment and payroll matters
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in accounting and finance
- Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem solving
- Possess strong conceptual abilities and Excel skills
- Professional proficiency in German and English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and interact with people at all levels of a company
- Experience with tools such as Candis, easybill and Personio would be beneficial
- Previous experience in working with ad-networks in the mobile advertising and/or gaming industry would be an extra bonus
