Proudly backed by EQT Ventures, Makers Fund and David Helgason, we are going through an exciting time of expansion. We are now looking for a Community Manager to join our talented marketing team. The Community Manager is the “voice” to players and will be the focal point of public facing interactions within the community. The Community Manager will create, own and manage community campaigns, channels and strategy for all of Popcore’s mobile titles.

What will you do:

  • Develop a community management plan for Popcore’s mobile titles, across all available channels including website, blogs, forums, social channels and platforms, etc.
  • Collaborate with development teams on future in-game content and updates to ensure all supporting communications are aligned. Provide recommendations on future updates in light of community feedback to ensure great content is continuously delivered to our players
  • Working with the Marketing Lead to build and maintain an active and engaged community via created social assets (imagery, video), in-game announcements, blog posts, patch notes etc.
  • Build ongoing relationships with highly engaged core communities, to allow for direct player feedback and engagement with the company on existing and new titles
  • Be willing to still be hands-on as well as working on a more strategic level
  • Planning/handling events and also providing tech support on player engagement queries

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years experience running Community campaigns in gaming, media or entertainment
  • Experience planning, creating and managing content and campaigns across social channels
  • good with reporting, analysis, interpreting data and making assumptions
  • Good understanding of the content production process, an eye for creativity
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
