As our Senior Frontend Engineer (Growth Focus), you will be instrumental in driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through exceptional frontend development. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to create high-performance web interfaces and interactive experiences that delight users and fuel our growth.

What You'll Do

Frontend Development with a Growth Focus

  • Develop Responsive Web Interfaces

  • Build responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Next.js.

  • Ensure seamless user experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.

  • Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

  • Drive User Acquisition and Engagement

  • Implement features that encourage user sign-ups, referrals, and social sharing.

  • Optimize user flows to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

  • Collaborate with designers to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.

Optimize for SEO and Performance

  • Optimize web pages for search engine visibility and fast load times.

  • Apply best practices in code splitting, lazy loading, and resource minimization.

  • Ensure the frontend is accessible and meets WCAG standards.

Playable Ad Development:

Create Interactive Playable Ads:

  • Collaborate with the design team to develop engaging playable ads for marketing campaigns.

  • Ensure ads are compatible with various ad platforms and meet technical requirements.

  • Innovate with new ad formats that capture attention and drive user acquisition.

Analytics and Experimentation:

Integrate Analytics Tools

  • Implement analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or equivalent to track user interactions.

  • Monitor key performance metrics and user behavior patterns.

A/B Testing and Optimization:

  • Implement A/B testing frameworks to experiment with features and design elements.

  • Analyze test results to inform feature development and improvements.

  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work Closely with Cross-Functional Teams

  • Partner with backend developers to integrate APIs and services seamlessly.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to align on growth objectives and strategies.

  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to planning sessions.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a significant focus on growth engineering.

  • Proven experience building and optimizing consumer-facing web applications.

  • Familiarity with startups or fast-paced environments where agility is key.

  • Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

  • Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.

  • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors and frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Sass.

  • Deep understanding of web performance optimization and SEO principles.

  • Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing platforms like Optimizely, VWO, or Google Optimize.

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
