As a Sales Development Lead, you’ll be an integral part of the Regional Operations team by leading the team that drives leads to the top of our sales funnel. You’ll empower and unblock the team to best navigate schools and districts in identifying key decision-makers, qualify prospects, and generate consultation meetings for our Market Managers. You will work tirelessly to develop the consultative selling technique of every team member, define and re-evaluate KPIs to ensure success, and operate efficiently in an ambiguous environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Train, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives to exceed individual and team targets
  • Develop the sales, product, and industry skills of each team member
  • Lead strategy and execution for different outreach campaigns
  • Day-to-day monitoring of activity and performance, utilizing your knowledge of the individual internal and external factors, with a data-driven approach
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of direct people management experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role
  • Proven track record of success in business development, target attainment, and/or transferable skill-set with a strong motivation to build a career in sales
  • Coachable, goal-oriented, organized, adaptable, resilient, hardworking, and eager to succeed
  • Strong verbal communicator with the ability to build relationships and drive results across roles and team members
  • Strong written communicator with the ability to craft compelling sales campaigns and collateral
  • Experience in the edtech or esports industries is a plus
  • Preferably you have an undergraduate degree
