PlayVS is hiring! The fastest-growing sport in high school and college in America isn’t basketball or football—it’s esports—and PlayVS is the official platform for High School and Collegiate esports. We offer a full-stack esport platform—game integrations, team building tools, leagues, tournaments, and schedules—and our software products tie everything together into a cohesive experience.
We are seeking an Executive Assistant to the Office of the CEO of PlayVS.
Here’s what you’ll get to do:
- Oversee and support all administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth operations in our fast-paced start-up environment
- Support CEO in managing daily schedule, travel, and helping with various projects
- Support CEO in personal tasks on an ad hoc basis
- Assist Chief of Staff in organizing, managing, tracking, and communicating project deadlines to ensure consistency of messaging from the Office of the CEO and deliverables are met
- Create and disseminate office communications, including event invites, office announcements, and program reminders.
- Anticipate and prepare materials needed for meetings, and conference calls – may include the draft setup and/or typing of letters, memos, meeting agendas, reports, and presentations
- Uses strong organizational skills to aid others in being more productive.
- Analyze problems, determine approach, compile and analyze data, and prepare reports/recommendations
- Work is generally of a critical or confidential nature
Here's what we're looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in a similar business environment.
- 2+ years’ experience in office administration or related field
- Experience working with senior executives in a high-growth business environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite is a must. Mac experience, Keynote, Expensify, Excel, and Quickbooks a huge plus
- Possesses a high level attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multitask.
- A magnetic personality, sense of humor, get-it-done attitude, and high level of ownership
- Resilient and easily adaptable to change
- Ability to be proactive, and solve problems expeditiously, while always maintaining a calm and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Ability to perform event setup and participation which may occur after normal business hours
- Some local travel; must have reliable transportation in order to conduct office related errands, source vendors and set-up events
