The fastest-growing high school sport in America isn’t basketball or football—it’s esports—and PlayVS is the official platform for High School esports. We offer an incredible, full-stack esport platform—game integrations, team building tools, leagues, tournaments, and schedules—and our software products tie everything together into a cohesive experience.

We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our team. This is an entry level Product Management position. It's a hands-on, highly engaged, and detail-oriented job. You'll partner with other Product Managers and stakeholders to define and ship product solutions while also learning from a talented team of Product Managers and Designers to further develop and refine your own skills.

Here's what you'll get to do:

  • Own the roadmap for a feature development team.
  • Define product solutions for existing business problems and/or opportunities.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering peers to drive the product development process for a feature development team—determine requirements, develop a plan, and manage its delivery.
  • Learn from a talented team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Analysts to develop and refine your own skills as a Product Manager.
  • Interview users and build relationships with customers to develop your own perspective.
  • Make decisions and trade-offs to ensure your projects remain on schedule and are successful.
  • Communicate with every level of our organization, from individual contributors to executives.

Here's what we're looking for:

  • 1 or more years of professional work experience in Product Management, Product Design, Software Engineering, Product Operations, Data Analytics, Customer Support or other related field.
  • Experience managing projects and deliverables across one or more teams. You are organized and deadline driven.
  • Familiarity with current software development best practices and tools.
  • Strong writing and communication skills. Your written materials are easy to read, and you are comfortable leading group discussions.
  • Experience working in a dynamic, execution-driven environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly and to model your work after others.
  • A passion for gaming, its community, and its customers.
