As an Account Executive you’ll identify opportunities for our Schools and Coaches to get the most out of PlayVS by quickly understanding our users’ needs, managing upsell and renewal opportunities, and driving end-to-end campaigns to increase adoption of PlayVS’s offering. We’re looking for a well-rounded strategic operator who can build strong relationships with PlayVS’s players and coaches and manage projects to engage with customers at scale

What you will be doing

  • Develop and implement strategies for driving product adoption and client retention at scale among existing PlayVS customers
  • Educate customers on the value of PlayVS in a consultative way
  • Build relationships with schools, coaches and decision makers
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach to new and existing customers
  • Provide recommendations based on a customer’s business needs and PlayVS usage patterns
  • Collaborate with internal teammates to ensure customer success with special emphasis on signup, and renewal
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process
  • Communicate and organize/escalate issues appropriately including: billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries
  • Engage with Product and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy
  • Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas of the product

What we are looking for:

  • Experience selling complex software solutions to both Line of Business and IT

  • You have a consistent track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions

  • Ability to navigate and thrive in an ambiguous environment
  • Preferably you have an undergraduate degree

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role
  • Ability to understand complex technical ecosystems and build great relationships with technical customers
  • Analytical ability to manage complex pricing and cost considerations
  • Experience managing projects with input from cross-functional teams
  • A knack for working well with a wide range of people, both internally and externally
  • Ability and motivation to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
