The PlayStation Studios Tools and Technology group lives at the intersection of PlayStation’s game and platform development. We seek a Technical Director to lead the development of our debugging and test technologies. If this is you please apply!
Responsibilities
- You will provide technical leadership for our debugging and test technologies, including but not limited to:
- Crash Reporting System (CRS)
- Video capture and streaming systems
- Debug and Remote target control systems
- Communicate with highly motivated teams to gather requirements and effectively apply these innovative technologies
- Including QA, platform development teams and game studios
- Provide technical direction to the development team
Qualifications
- A min. of 10 years professional experience working in games or consumer hardware development, including direct experience in one or more of:
- Networking code
- Windows Platform APIs
- DirectX / console APIs or equivalent
- Strength and a real passion for C and C++ programming
- Some knowledge of C# and/or Java
- Experience deploying and maintaining cloud hosted services
- Great interpersonal skills (written and oral)
- An interest in games and a dream to create something better
Nice-to-Have:
- Development on the PlayStation platforms or equivalent experience
- Experience in Machine Learning techniques and frameworks
- Knowledge of FreeBSD or Linux kernel development
- Experience with Windows Media Foundation
