Role overview:

The store team is responsible for managing the different digital store fronts – maximizing content (game and services) sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience. Data and insight play a meaningful role in decision making and the Insights and Analytics team are at the heart of this. As we launch new capability we need a Techical Analytics Manager to ensure that our new products are fully tagged, tracked and working per specs so the CRO team can report on key metrics.

Reporting into the Senior Manager, Analytics and Insights, this is a pivotal role that will play an integral part of the CRO team. There will be a requirement to work with partners around the business including DSO and the Product team to deliver our new data capabilities.

What you'll be doing:

Working as a key member of the Analytics and Insights team you’ll be the main point of contact for the launch of a new services proposition from a data / Adobe perspective. You’ll be working with our Product team on gathering requirements, QA, UAT, building test reports, prioritising bug fixes and helping set up key reports for the business partners:

  • Work with the Adobe, data and product teams to ensure that new capabilities are tagged, and we are able to report on performance across channel
  • Manage the end to end tagging for any new product features that are launching and work closely with the product team on requirements, UAT and documentation and training for the team
  • Be the escalation point for CRO working with external teams on prioritization, bug fixes and issue resolution linked to data and analytics
  • Proactively identify improvements in the data and analytics eco-system to ensure customer journeys can be tracked and measured throughout the funnel and across channel
  • Work with other partners who use Adobe and tracking tools to align on reporting, tagging and naming conventions
  • Own the “data driven” agenda within the PSSP org, share data and insights that are useful for the different teams
  • Proactively look to further enhance existing reports whilst looking for opportunities for new reporting
  • Work with Product Management to help define success criteria for new store feature
  • To be the ‘super user’ on Adobe Digital Marketing Suite (SiteCatalyst, Discover and Report Builder) establishing a suite of standard reports and dashboards to drive business decisions
  • Provide internal coaching and support to other Adobe users across the teams to drive a self-serve culture and self-service data requests

What we're looking for:

  • Qualification (or experience to degree standard) in Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, or other numerate subject
  • 5+ years’ experience in a technically focused analytical role – Ecommerce, B2C, Entertainment,
  • Extensive experience working with web analytics (Adobe) and customer insight data on ecommerce or B2C websites
  • Adobe training or accreditation and experience of working with CJA
  • Working in a global company with high volumes of consumer data, data management, data processes and flows in large scale system
  • Technical skills and knowledge around roll out of new capabilities and product features
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to structure problems for analysis, analyze the data and understand root cause 
  • Experience analysing data and presenting findings

  • Flexible and proactive approach who can use their initiative to solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • High levels of personal motivation to further skills, experience and business knowledge
  • Experience using Data Management Platform/Freewheel/MicroStrategy/Power Bi/Domo
  • Testing tool knowledge
  • Experience in SQL
