Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Diego, CA to participate as a member of the development team and perform in-depth analysis of functional or business requirements.

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience creating and maintaining Java code and providing component level designs.

Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience designing and implementing web based services; participating in code reviews; performing Agile scrum Methodology, using JIRA Dashboard tool for project planning and development; developing and maintaining CI/CD jobs using Jenkins and AWS technologies; performing code reviews and code deployment; performing grooming meetings to plan tasks for the Sprints; creating Design Documents for new features and products, including architectural diagrams; and in performing duties, utilizing agile methodologies, Scrum, Java, AWS, Dynamo DB, Lambda, SQL, Maven, SDLC, TDD, and JUNIT.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location. Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
