Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer 3 in San Diego, CA to drive and implement new technology initiatives and identify key areas for improvement in the product line.

Requires a Master’s degree in Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience developing linear scale, highly available, globally distributed services platforms.

Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience creating fully tested and fully documented REST based Java web services, and performing transaction monitoring and investigation for live production deployed services; utilizing object-oriented analysis and design to develop logical design artifacts, sequence diagrams, pseudo code, and data flow diagrams for software deliverables, and performing code reviews; preparing test evidence, build artifacts, and compliance documentation for production deployments; performing load testing, performance analysis and service capacity planning; and in executing duties, utilizing DevOps tool sets, including Git, Artifactory, Cassandra, DynamoBD, Enterprise Java/J2EE, Web Services, and REST.
