This position is for a Site Supervisor through our security partner G4S Security Services.

The Site Supervisor is accountable for day-to-day operations of the Sony Site, including hiring, training, disciplining and other administrative duties. He or she will build, improve and maintain relationships with clients and employees, as well as develop and retain staff. The Site Supervisor will coordinate needed support services and solve problems to effectively run the account and meet or exceed financial and operational goals. The Site Supervisor will provide quality customer service, maintains or oversees maintenance of weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel.

Principle Duties/Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day to day security operations at the Sony Site
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development and support
  • Ensure the Client Site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both client and employees
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client site to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer service
  • Work closely with other Supervisors/Coordinators within client organization to maintain continuity of operations across all client locations
  • Occasional supervision of special events on and off campus at client’s request
  • Provide after-hour emergency response as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in business management, operations, or supervision
  • Work history must include demonstrated knowledge of conducting security and safety inspections

Preferred

  • Must meet one of the following requirements: o
  • Military or Law Enforcement experience o
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy o
  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies o
  • A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch o
  • Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

Independent

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:

  • Selection of personnel to assume increased responsibility
  • Changes to physical security surveys and post orders
  • Implementing methods of reducing overtime
  • Cross-training officers to make them more versatile
  • Conduct officer training as required; determine training components
  • Conduct security-related investigations as required
  • Develop and implement process improvement initiatives

Indirect

  • Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
