What You’ll Do:

  • Work hands-on to design and build a data platform system for the Sony Interactive Entertainment AI team
  • Work closely with AI researchers to advance artificial intelligence ideas that are aligned to the group strategy
  • Work with data scientists to build and train DNN models on a HPC GPU grid

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in building data pipelines and other data engineering applications
  • A hands-on software developer with strong understanding of Java, Scala, Python or another programming language
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a hands-on expert-level practitioner of data engineering and ML.
  • Track record of building robust data pipelines for data products
  • Strong communication skills in working with other data engineers and data practitioners

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Advanced experience using Databricks or similar technologies
  • BS or MS. in computer science or related fields.
  • Experience in machine learning problems ranging from statistical ML to DNN
  • 2+ years of experience leading large ML initiatives across cross-functional teams in multiple organizations.
  • Moderate understanding of the latest developments of ML systems, techniques, open-source and cloud offerings.
