Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for a Integration Engineer Intern to join our established, high performance team in San Diego, CA. Our ideal candidate is hardworking and passionate about this field.

This internship is for Summer 2021.

Integration Engineer Intern

San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret requirements and develop, build & deploy integrations with adherence to standard software development best practices.
  • Implement multiple interface services to connect both internal and external SOAP and REST web services.
  • Develop and maintain API endpoints for self-service enterprise integrations.
  • Participate in POC development and design review sessions.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality software within the schedules.
  • Create and maintain system documentation according to the IT methodology.
  • Provide support by proactively monitoring platforms and seeking to implement performance improvement with application availability, quality, and performance.
  • Collaborate and communicate with IT cross-functional teams and business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related.
  • 2+ year of experience of software development in the industry.
  • 1+ year of experience in API development & application integration.
  • Proficient with at least one programming language like Java, Python, Ruby.
  • Experience with REST, JSON database and SFTP connectors.
  • Experience in API and Batch development.
  • Experience in integrating, diagnosing and debugging complex systems.
  • Strong analytic skills; organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Mulesoft will be preferred.
