Department Coordinator

San Mateo, CA

The position of Department Coordinator is expected to partner with the executive support team of the Global Marketing group at Sony Interactive Entertainment America to coordinate/assist all areas of department support.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Frequent contact with all levels of Sony Interactive Entertainment America and extended Sony Corp employees and managers
  • Assist with the management and upkeep of the department project list
  • Coordinate Marketing projects as assigned
  • Manage game library
  • Coordinate catering and logistics for large meetings
  • Submit contract requests, NDAs, and invoices as needed
  • Assisting with creating PowerPoint presentation materials
  • Submit and track FGR orders
  • Track and liaise with facilities on open tickets/projects
  • Track and maintain inventory for PS4/PS5 Hardware request
  • Order office supplies and business cards
  • Continually improve and effectively utilize software packages to produce the work and automate processes without compromising work quality
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office: Strong PowerPoint skills, Outlook, Word, and Excel, Internet applications and Internal Data Base systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Written and Oral)
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently on difficult projects with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of company products, services and overall business objectives
