Role overview:

This role is responsible for coordinating financial analysis and approval for pricing and promotions across all products and channels within GSBO and will act as the key business partner to the global commercial planning team within Channel Sales. This role provides commercial analysis to support global alignment and decision making on all key promotional mechanics and new product pricing. The role will be responsible for establishing and developing ongoing key commercial reporting such as ROI analysis of promotional activities and price sensitivity and benchmarking.

What you'll be doing:

Pricing

  • Responsible for setting and maintaining global price matrix across all products (physical, digital, PC, services) and channels (retail, distributor, D2C)
  • Act as key business partner to commercial planning team to set pricing strategy and lifecycle methodology and best practices
  • Responsible for communication of pricing for new releases and price changes with relevant partners
  • Establish regular pricing reporting and analytics (i.e. sensitivity, FX impacts, product/channel comparisons) to support future pricing decisions
  • Own and maintain global pricing approval framework, in line with global TOA policies, working closely with commercial business partners to ensure adherence/alignment and continual reviews to find opportunities for process improvements

Promotions

  • Manage the coordination of global promo mechanics across Channel Sales, Services and D2C, including business partnering and communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage the coordination of global bundle approval/tracking across Channel Sales/D2C
  • Establish process for reviewing global promo revenue, cost planning and scenario analysis to support planning, decision making and approvals, working closely with business partner teams to ensure consistency and visibility of all promo plans.
  • Work closely with commercial planning team to establish regular promo performance reporting, including setting methodology and best practices for business partner teams

What we're looking for:

  • At least 6 years proven experience or 4 years PQE in an FP&A function and of working with commercial teams or business
  • Senior level business partner experience in Sales/Marketing
  • Strong financial background with ability to evaluate financial impact of business decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of Excel (VBA level an advantage).
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to present detailed analyses.
  • Organised self-starter, with drive and ambition who thrives under pressure, and is capable of confidently working alongside the most senior stakeholders across the wider business.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy & adherence to deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a regional group headquarters.
  • Proven track record of similar roles/tasks in Global / Pan regional company in the Entertainment sector (Game/Film/Music)
