Role Overview:

The Brand Manager for Global Marketing is responsible for the development of building marketing plans for PlayStation Platform Portfolio including hardware, peripherals and services.

Reporting to the Manager, Global Marketing, this is a key role accountable for building and developing world-class global marketing campaigns, driving engagement on the platform & encouraging our players to purchase PlayStation products & services.

What you’ll be doing:

  • The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing global marketing campaigns and toolkits to impact & drive the PlayStation platform business.
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable analysing data and consumer insights to develop data driven campaign plans. They will also have experience creating briefs and working with creative agencies to manage campaign development, ensuring alignment with stakeholders & timely delivery of assets.
  • The Brand Manager will also work closely with internal teams, including the Exclusive Games and Third-Party Marketing teams & will be responsible for communicating information & marketing plans to local territories.
  • The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience of marketing brands or products, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry. They will also be comfortable balancing multiple tasks in a fast-moving and complex environment.

The Brand Manager will work across the following key areas:

  • Support the marketing strategy development for PlayStation products & services
  • Responsible for PlayStation product marketing campaign creative development; accountable for developing briefs and managing the review process with all stakeholders
  • Develop global marketing toolkits for PlayStation products & services in collaboration with the Exclusive Games and Third-Party Marketing teams
  • Be the lead stakeholder for the assigned product, owned and earned channels, including but not limited to; digital, eCRM & trade marketing assets.
  • Work closely with the Consumer Insights & Analytics teams to understand trends, market insights and segmentation for SIE, inputting on global marketing strategy and plans
  • Provide information by presenting marketing plans and creative development in both regular and ad hoc meetings
  • Work closely with Global PR team to ensure alignment
  • Manage packaging process
  • Produce post campaign analysis documents
  • Create Purchase Orders and manage budgets

What we are looking for:

Preferred:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Marketing experience, ideally in the gaming or entertainment industry
  • Experience previously working in a Global or Regional role
  • Proven experience analysing, working with and building campaigns through data.
  • Comfortable managing relationships with internal & external parties
  • Collaborative team player and a creative problem solver
  • Be able to manage multiple projects & complete in a timely manner
  • Good attention to detail
  • Does not settle for the status quo, challenges and leads change in a positive way
  • Experience in digital media strategy and execution best practise
