Role- Americas Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: San Mateo, US

The Global Sales and Business Operations (GSBO) team brings together staff from around the world, with a passion for engaging gamers with PlayStation’s extraordinary products and services. GSBO teams are located in countries across the globe, balancing local relevance with a global perspective. Across our Direct to Consumer, channel partners, and services business, our teams work cross-functionally to bring the best of the PlayStation experience to markets and channels around the world.

Leads business partnerships for the Americas business operations teams as “face of GSBO FP&A” and coordinates across internal FP&A team as needed (FP&A hub, reporting & analysis, Commercial hub, etc.); is the first point of contact for Americas questions and queries and ensure resolution by working cross functionally with the accurate teams both within and outside of FP&A

Attend the Americas commercial and performance meetings to represent GSBO for Channel Lead in global meetings where appropriate

Feedback to Commercial hub any local pricing promo requirements or requests and ensure representation of Hub feedback

Participate in volume alignment between Hub and Central

Coordinate and service as a business partner, ensuring global alignment is adhered to but aware of regional nuances

Work on new business cases and commercial plans with America’s collaborators, challenging where vital collaborate closely with commercial hub teams

Ensure global channel alignment and review go to market strategy and executions

Drive business results through performing what-if / scenario planning through margin, including impact of FX fluctuations or assumption changes

Lead all aspects of local and retailer promotion management activities e.g., return on investment analysis, consumer spend analysis, plan vs actual, business challenges
