Playground Games is seeking Technical Writer To join our world-class Fable Team.

As a Technical Writer you will be responsible for authoring and managing development documentation, ensuring internal and external teams are informed on all aspects of workflows, pipelines and direction.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote best practices for technical documentation
• Contribute to, and assist development teams when writing technical documentation
• Assist with creation of onboarding resources for new starters and outsource vendors
• Take responsibility for technical documentation management and organisation
• Research and propose workflows and technology for improving documentation
• Interact with subject matter experts to actively understand and improve technical documentation

Skills Summary

• Experience authoring technical documentation for software
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Be a passionate gamer
• Good at comprehending problems, solutions and workflows
• Experience with collaborative documentation tools such as Confluence
• (Desirable) Game development experience
• (Desirable) User Research experience is a bonus
• (Desirable) Programming skills is a bonus
• (Desirable) Good understanding of software UI and UX principles
