We are looking for 3x Senior Lighting Artists to work with us on a project contract basis.

Availability From:

• Monday 29th June to Friday 9th October (includes one week safety at tail end)

Job requirements:

• Must be proficient in 3DS Max
• Must be proficient in either Redshift or Vray
• Must have full rights to work in Australia
• Must be able to work onsite at our Rhodes, Sydney studio

Responsibilities:

• Create photo-real shot lighting and rendering
• Light and render a variety of small and large-scale CG elements including FX integration
• Provide physically plausible shading
• Maintain consistency across sequences and shots
• Communicate creative and technical issues effectively
• Work closely with compositors ensuring the renders you provide are consistent
• Engaging with the Creative Director, Lighting Lead and Producers
• Communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas
• Real world understanding of physics, maths, proportion, depth, colour, lighting
• Take direction, adaptable to change
• Work well within a team focused environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a good eye required
• Positive, pro-active and excellent communication skills

Pluses

• Nuke, Photoshop and Substance
• Tool building and scripting knowledge
• Good artistic skills, with a particular emphasis on real-world lighting/photography
• Experience as a Senior Lighter on either feature film, TV series, game cinematics or TVC’s
