Plarium Kharkiv is looking for a talented Back-End Team Lead to join our Business Solutions Department, which develops and maintains the corporate portal. The goal of the project is to improve our company’s business processes, and the team currently consists of 5 specialists.

The portal is a multi-module web application with a flexible role-based system. It provides services in the following three areas:

Internal communications – the portal acts as a company news portal, corporate document repository, and platform for communication between employees.
HR solutions system – the portal records activity, recruiting progress, and evaluations. It also allows goal setting, goal reporting, and more.
Tools – the portal provides access to such services as a meeting room booking interface and an interactive office map.

The backend is based on ASP.NET Web API, and we use SignalR to increase application interactivity. The Web client is a single-page application using React.JS with flexible architecture and a dynamic module loader. We also actively develop the administration panel of the application. This allows us to configure more portal functions.

Responsibilities:

Participating in product development and planning
Analyzing, improving, and monitoring the development process
Improving the application architecture together with the System Architect
Streamlining the team’s internal processes
Collaborating and communicating with QA and Front-End teams
Providing feedback to the team, and planning employee education and development
Serving as a subject matter expert during meetings with the Product Owner

Requirements:

At least 5 years of work experience in software development
At least 2 years of experience managing back-end teams
Experience creating ASP.NET applications deployed in IIS
Understanding of how scalable multithreaded applications are created
Comprehensive knowledge of the .NET platform
Knowledge of C#
Knowledge of relational data storing, transactions, and SQL language
Experience implementing OOD principles, various design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
Understanding of the client-server architecture and usage of the HTTP, HTTPS, and ТCP/IP protocols
Mentorship skills
Familiarity with Agile project management techniques
English language skills at the intermediate level or higher
