Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Social Media Manager, this position is responsible for the overall experience and value of the Knights’ LATAM Social platforms. The Social media coordinator will focus on the daily maintenance, management, operation, and optimization of the Knights’ LATAM socials and will play a big role in content creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation of original, compelling content - such as static and motion graphics, as well as video – for the Knights’ LATAM digital and social platforms.
  • Assist in posting and scheduling content to social media platforms, including but not limited to real-time updates of live games, team events, and functions.
  • Assist in monitoring social platforms for relevant and timely opportunities to appropriately interact with fans, players, and brands.
  • Capture and/or create daily content for social platforms including but not limited to shooting/editing photos and videos.
  • Assist in organizing specific and timely content and campaigns into an ongoing social media calendar.
  • Assist in planning social coverage for all events as needed, including but not limited to games, special events, community events, product launches.
  • Collaborate with members of the Content team and Sponsorship Sales & Activation teams to create compelling sponsorship inventory opportunities.
  • Account for and align the department’s content strategy with team coverage, Sales & Marketing requirements, as well as other organizational initiatives for the Knight's LATAM strategy.
  • Daily maintenance of all digital properties
  • Serve as the liaison to help meet the digital needs of all departments within the organization including page creation and sponsorship fulfillment.
  • Assist in the streaming, publishing, and promoting of a live and on-demand multimedia event.
  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, and potentially additional channels (Snapchat, Instagram, Vine, etc.).
  • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
  • Explore new ways to engage and new social networks to reach our target buyers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or relevant area of study.
  • 1+ years of demonstrated experience working across multiple social and digital platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Must be willing to facilitate personnel requirements including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.
  • Experience in video editing
  • High-level organization skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work evenings. Weekends, based on business needs.
  • Must be able to take initiative and independently complete tasks and projects.
  • Must maintain a positive, professional attitude always and be receptive to input and constructive criticism.
  • Knowledge of Esports a must.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and English a must.
