Position Purpose

Pipeworks Studios is looking for a full-time temporary HR Assistant to aid and facilitate the core functional areas of talent acquisition and new hire onboarding. This role will also provide administrative support as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS data entry.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assists with recruitment and interview process through tracking the status of candidates in Jobvite and responding with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process
  • Proactive use of human resource software to assist Management with recruitment, onboarding, process improvement, communication and align ing with company goals
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the HR Business Partner and HR Director
  • Completes and verifies I-9 documentation and maintains employee and candidate files on our network
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks
  • Assist employees by answering HR related questions, concerns, grievances, and takes appropriate action, or escalates if required
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Effective interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Must be honest and ethical and maintain confidentiality
  • Accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations
  • Be reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations
  • Ability and willingness to treat the public, vendors , and coworkers in a manner consistent with the Company's vision, values , and policies
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook

Proficiency with HRIS (ADP preferred ) and Applicant Tracking Systems

Education & Experience Required

  • Associates degree in HR or a related field preferred
  • 1 years of experience in an administrative HR role
