(Closed) esport Manager
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the main purpose of this role is to establish and build effective commercial, marketing and sponsorship relationships within the eSports sector, alongside promoting eSports at Pinnacle by maintaining and developing on site content and acquiring new customers at an appropriate CPA.
Essential Job Functions / Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Acquire and deliver eSport sponsorship opportunities leading to the promotion of Pinnacle
Development and implementation of the Pinnacle and Pinbet88 eSports strategy to drive engagement and acquisition through the Pinnacle.com and Pinbet88.com eSports Hubs
Maintaining direct relationships with key eSports marketing partners including (but not limited to) affiliates, bloggers, shoutcasters, professional and semi-professional teams.
Develop initiatives to build awareness and advocacy of the Pinnacle and Pinbet88 brands and presence as a knowledge leader in eSports betting
Establish a strong presence in associated forums and be accountable for Pinnacle’s relationship management and enhancement in the eSports world
Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual account performance of the channel.
Identifying and recruiting new eSports affiliates and opportunities to the programme and collaborating with affiliate team to on board them to Income Access
Evaluating opportunities and employing an effective strategy to achieve efficient ROI
Identify strengths and weaknesses of the current eSports offering in order to plan for progression and advancement within the channel.
Maintain an advanced knowledge of competitors and the industry.
Develop Integrity & player education in eSports betting.
Produce and develop and effective PR, social media and content strategy.
Work effectively with other departments within the business to ensure the eSports Hub is operating successfully with attention to UX and structure.
Perform internal data analysis on Pinnacle eSports players in order to make strategic business decisions to best lead the channel.
Travel to industry events when required. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
Have proven experience in online marketing and writing
Strong understanding and knowledge of eSports and the industry.
Be commercially and analytically minded, with strong financial evaluation and performance marketing management skills.
Be able to adapt to the demands of working in a rapidly changing environment
Have strong verbal, written communication, presentation skills
Have a strong knowledge of the gaming industry
Experience of delivering and understanding and reporting KPI’s
Good personal skills, able to develop positive internal and external relationships
Will be innovative and self-motivated
Will have high confidence levels with a positive, outgoing and dynamic approach
Ability to manage multiple projects
Creative problem solver and team player
Strong analytical skills
Innate desire to learn and share findings with relevant stakeholders
Knowledge & Experience:
Minimum 3 years of online marketing experience
Knowledge of esports essential and knowledge of betting & the gaming industry would be a significant asset
Strong passion for esports and significant PR and player/ tournament contact list preferred
Previous job or role within eSports is desirable
