Partyhat is the mother company of an innovative e-commerce startup, challenging the conventions of online shopping. With the foundation of our business firmly established, we are looking for an experienced Senior Vice President of Marketing to oversee all aspects of our marketing communications.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will also communicate with agencies/partners, influencer managers & coordinators, in-house media buyers, native advertisers, public relationship managers & writers, social media managers and email marketers, expertly creating advertising strategies and attracting new users to our platform. Demand generation is key, which will be achieved through a thorough understanding of Partyhat as a product, service and platform, and how it functions within luxury retail markets and its customers.

This exciting role will demand creative thinking, strategic planning and excellent attention to detail across all aspects of marketing. The successful candidate will join a rapidly growing e-commerce disruptor, where your input will make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of both the creative and operational side of marketing at Partyhat
  • Full responsibility for the company’s marketing revenue targets, both through securing new users and growing existing customer relationships
  • Develop and implement a best-in-class marketing strategy and process
  • Recruitment of new marketing hires across marketing ops and creative to deliver the strategy
  • Build an amazing brand identity and build awareness for Partyhat through all relevant channels, including partners
  • Leverage marketing channels and tools to execute lead generation programs, leveraging account-based marketing and other enterprise-focused data-driven marketing techniques
  • Arm the Sales, Influencer Marketing, Media Buying & PR Team with the tools and materials needed to win customers across verticals
  • Execute a content generation program from short-form to long-form to establish Partyhat as the thought leader for individualised marketing at scale
  • Work with the product team to ensure alignment between positioning and product
  • Represent Partyhat to the outside world, including press, analysts, and customers
  • Be a listening post in the market to recognise market trends and competitor activity; provide feedback to company leadership and other company functions

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in e-commerce, tech or fashion
  • Experience of building, managing and developing a high-performing Marketing team
  • Strong track record of building and leading marketing in an a startup or scaleup
  • Expertise in building Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy and programs
  • Strong experience with Analytics (Google Analytics), CMS, CRM and Marketing Automation ideally HubSpot, Salesforce, Grin, Woodpecker, and/or Customer.io
  • Experience with enterprise sales materials and enablement
  • A compelling storyteller who can engage and educate staff and prospects with professionalism and effectively communicate to business and technical decision-makers
  • Experience developing marketing SOPs and guidelines
  • Exceptional track record of driving strong demand generation campaigns for startups preferably within e-commerce or retail
