The QA Project Coordinator is the owner of functional QA processes for all internal PDS titles. Their role is to collaborate with Production, Project Leadership, QA Management, and Outsourced QA teams to create and execute a QA Plan that ensures all of our internally developed PDS Titles receive appropriately scheduled, properly executed QA cycles.

Goals and KPIs

  • Collaborate with embedded and outsource QA groups to define and execute the functional test strategy for PDS releases.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our outsource partners to support and empower our external QA process.
  • Track and Report on Product Quality to ensure productions are aware of critical issues and negative trends.

Relationships

Reports to QA Management, but operationally managed by the Central QA Lead.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with Project Leadership and Internal QA Groups to organize the functional QA plan.
  • Lead, track, and support external QA groups.
  • Creating phase specific test plans that ensure coverage of verification criteria.
  • Identify and track verification criteria fails for each phase of development.
  • Communicating product status updates via daily & weekly Project Health Reports.
  • Monitor quality KPIs on the dashboards and Health reports and proactively raise risk to project leadership.
  • Expected to be an onsite expert of the product, capable of answering design questions with minimal delegation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ year(s) of hands on QA experience or a relevant game school degree
  • Proactive, diplomatic, and passionate about games, game development, or grand strategy titles
  • People oriented, strong communicative and interpersonal skills; capable of summarizing complex subjects to technical and non-technical department representatives
  • Fluent in English
