What you will be doing:

  • Sculpt high-resolution and game-ready photoreal assets
  • Setup environments in Unity, incl. lighting and shaders
  • Environment concept and design - research and understand real world reference
  • Optimize content through enhancing workflows and instructing other artists on asset creation best practices through all facets of production
  • Integrate new technologies into art workflows.
  • Oversee asset and meeting budget (memory and performance).
  • Research and oversee the implementation of rendering techniques such as normal and specular maps, particle systems, and pixel shaders as well.

Sound like you?

Essential

  • Best in class modelling skills
  • Knowledge of Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, ZBrush, Photoshop, etc.
  • Expert texture creation skills
  • Eye for lighting, shade, color and detail
  • Advanced / expert knowledge of Unity
  • Strong understanding of PBR lighting models and its interaction with materials
  • Experience writing shaders for real-time rendering

Bonus points for the following (not required)

  • Intermediate scripting experience with Python or Mel/Maya API.
  • Knowledge of and experience in of game optimization
  • Proficiency with C#
