Overtime is hiring a YouTube Video Producer/Talent Manager to join our team full-time in NYC.

Based in NYC, Overtime is funded by top venture capital firms like Andreessen Horowitz and Spark and by industry leaders like Kevin Durant and NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern. Overtime is building the biggest sports network in the world for the next generation of fans. We use tech, new platforms, and new formats to drive a billion video views every month. We publish our short-form content and long-form series across 7 platforms focusing on basketball, football, soccer, and gaming. We own a pro esports team, have a fast-growing apparel business, and basically do everything differently from a standard media company. Overtime is led by seasoned entrepreneurs with deep experience in the intersecting worlds of sports and media, and a strong track record of building successful startups and guiding them through acquisition.
What you’ll do
- Conceive, write, research and produce video concepts for Overtime Social and YouTube
- Manage small team of producers, editors and shooters
- Chief responsibility is to develop talent led YouTube concepts
- Direct video crews and talent on location
- Manage and give consistent feedback to talent
- Work closely with video editors and graphic designers in post-production
- Work closely with Overtime Social platform editors to create content best-suited for each platform, primarily YouTube
- Constantly think about new and creative ways to tell stories on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter using original content
- Balance real-time content with long-term creative projects
Who you are
- 3+ years of video storytelling experience, preferably with YouTube or digital programming
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
- Strong understanding of our talent and players
- Understanding of what content types work best on each social platform, specifically YouTube
- Experience working on weekly or monthly digital shows
- Ability to work well in teams as well as individually
- Ability to be funny, engaging, inspiring and original in your work
- Willingness to work nights, weekends and travel
