Overtime is looking for Shooter, Producer, Editors to join our team full-time in Los Angeles. We’re hiring candidates at all levels of experience. If you have at least one year of experience producing excellent content, this role is for you. Not a triple threat (yet)? We’ll train you. If you have experience shooting, producing, or editing, apply to this role. Bonus points if you can do two of the three.
About Overtime
Based in NYC, Overtime is funded by top venture capital firms like Andreessen Horowitz and Spark and by industry leaders like Kevin Durant and NBA Commissioner Emeritus David Stern. Overtime is building the biggest sports network in the world for the next generation of fans. We use tech, new platforms, and new formats to drive a billion video views every month. We publish our short-form content and long-form series across 7 platforms focusing on basketball, football, soccer, and gaming. We own a pro esports team, have a fast-growing apparel business, and basically do everything differently from a standard media company. Overtime is led by seasoned entrepreneurs with deep experience in the intersecting worlds of sports and media, and a strong track record of building successful startups and guiding them through acquisition.
What you’ll do
- Shoot, produce, and edit digital video content (branded & editorial)
- Manage productions- locations, set pieces, talent, etc.
- Provide direction to freelance crew members
- Work closely with production and social teams to make sure we achieve goals
Who you are
- At least one year of experience producing excellent videos. Show example links and/or reel.
- The ability to tell a story from a truly compelling and unique point of view.
- Experience shooting with a Sony A7s
- Experience working on weekly or monthly digital shows
- Experience editing on Adobe Premiere Pro, Motion GFX skills a huge plus.
- Basic knowledge of Google Drive and MS Office.
- Experience in showing results within the confines of brand requirements, client deliverables, and budget limitations.
- Must exhibit tenacious, upstart mentality.
- Flexible schedule and ability to travel the region for productions
- Excellent written, verbal, and time management skills. Communication is everything.
