As the Assistant to Overtime’s CEO you’ll be involved in a huge range of projects at the company from fashion, music, esports, social media, community building, and outreach. You’ll help us grow our start-up to the next level while working directly with and learning from our company’s leaders.

You don't have to be a huge sports fan to be our next Assistant to the CEO, but you do have to super smart, fast, organized, and a creative thinker!

About Overtime

Overtime is building the biggest sports network in the world for the next generation of fans. We use tech, new platforms, and new formats to drive a billion of video views every month. We publish our short form content and long form series across every social platform. We currently focus on basketball, football, soccer and gaming. We own a pro esports team, have a fast growing apparel business and basically do everything differently from a standard media company. Based in NYC, Overtime is funded by top VC firms as well as industry leaders like Kevin Durant and former NBA Commissioner David Stern. Overtime is led by seasoned entrepreneurs with multiple exits.

What you’ll do

  • Primarily provide support to the CEO and assist other members of our leadership team as needed
  • Manage the calendars of the CEO with a high level of detail coordinating internal and external meetings
  • Communicate with internal team members and external partners on behalf of the CEO
  • Document and delegate action items from team meetings and deliver status updates on various team efforts
  • Organize meetings, including booking conference room space organizing agendas, preparing materials, and ensuring the availability of attendees
  • Coordinate both domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring all logistics are considered and planned for with a well-articulated itinerary
  • Prepare expense reports
  • Assist the CEO in any tasks related to our esports channel
  • Manage ad-hoc projects as they arise throughout the company

Who you are

  • 1+ year of experience in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • Know how to anticipate and address communication and efficiency issues before they become problems
  • Master of Google Suite and calendaring functions
  • Superb judgement
  • Able to think cross-functionally
  • Excellent follow through - able to take a project from conception to final product
  • Proactive about finding and presenting solutions
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulously organized and detail-oriented
  • Wants to learn and grow
  • Flexible in adapting to changing timelines and priorities
  • Down to pitch in wherever the team needs it
  • Quick learner - you like learning new things and pick up quickly
